New Show - Daniel O'Donnell
DANIEL O'DONNELL
Tuesday 9th June 20097.30pm
Tickets: £32.50 & £30.00
Booking Fee £2.00
Daniel O'Donnell is Britain and Ireland’s most popular easy listening entertainer and it's not difficult to see why. He not only continues to entertain fans at sell-out shows, but re-writes UK chart history along the way.
Since the turn of the century he has had eight UK Top Ten albums, five UK No.1. DVD’s, created a completely new spectacular rock’n’roll show that toured the UK and Ireland, established himself as a major star in America, successfully toured Australia and New Zealand and been placed in the UK Top 50 artists of the decade in a national TV music documentary. Quite an impressive start to the new millennium.
Daniel’s shows are renowned for their sheer professionalism and entertainment value. Few artists, if any, give more to their fans in a live concert situation than Daniel O’Donnell.
His concert appearances are well documented and have taken him from London’s Royal Albert Hall and Dublin’s Point Theatre to New York’s Carnegie Hall and Sydney’s wonderful Opera House.
And yet despite all these achievements and more, Daniel continues to set himself ambitious new targets. His most recent albums have included an inspirational album, 50's / 60's rock'n'roll albums, a complete album of his own written songs and last year an album of duets with his show's guest star, Mary Duff.
This year he reaches back to his roots with an album of 20 classic country songs titled "Country Boy". The album includes such favourites as Release Me, Lucille, King of The Road, If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body, Back Home Again, From Here To There To You and Crystal Chandeliers. Daniel will be singing a good selection of these new songs on this forthcoming concert tour.
Despite all the success and accolades one thing is for sure though, Daniel O’Donnell MBE will continue to pursue new ambitions and treat his fans in the same quiet, unassuming manner that has always been his trademark.
Don't miss this chance to see just why Daniel has become such a sought after and legendary entertainer.
