January 1991 and things would never be the same again for women! The Phenomenon that was The Chippendales came to the UK and took us by storm. This troupe of American Beefcake brought the most muscle bound hunks to our fair shores and EVERYONE was talking about them - Every woman wanted her man to either look like one or ... to sleep with one! Every guy was either jealous, wanted to BE one or ... wanted to sleep with one!
They graced every magazine, news item and TV show - even Sir Terry Wogan was lost for words when faced with two of the most stunning, and enormous men in the world!
The Original cast were recognised everywhere, sold out every theatre in the UK and for 18 months sold every seat in the West End's Strand Theatre. There was nothing like it, and they gained an extraordinary following. In their hey day The Chippendales had to wear ear plugs to tolerate the screaming frenzy of females at their sell out shows. In spite of the passing years, HERE COME THE BOYS and they are looking better than ever! Spring 2009 and they are set to grace our screens, media and theatres with a highly promoted UK Tour, ITV show and massive record release, all choreographed by ex-Chippendale dancer and ex-husband / choreographer to Jennifer Lopez, Chris Judd.
