The band are unashamed of the pure pop sound the single exudes, something which comes naturally to the siblings. Sean explains "I say go for it. Everyone's too worried about looking cool. So many people live behind what they perceive of themselves and what they think other people perceive them to be… But they should just let it all hang out."Following last year's X Factor series, which saw the band, mentored by Simon Cowell reached the final of the competition, Same Difference have been living the life they always dreamed of.

New Show - Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club

Mark Howes presents
ORQUESTA BUENA VISTA SOCIAL CLUB
Sunday 11th October 20097.30pm
All Tickets: £28.50
Booking Fee £2.50

This 13 piece band directly from Havana Cuba, has played together for over half a centry, and it shows. Stylistically, they span the entire spectrum of Afro-Cuban music. Vista Social Club's most influential style is the exuberant, polyrhythmic music known as son, which gave birth to both Mambo and Salsa. These upbeat numbers are full of infectious guitar licks, multi-layered Afro-Cuban rhythms, soaring vocal melodies, and brash, Big Band-style horn parts.

Their music will transport you to the heart of Havana's clubs and dancehalls. Bass player Orlando 'Cachaito' Lopez is the only musician who has played on every track on every album in the World Circuit Buena Vista Social Club series. Guajiro Mirabal's distrinctive trumpet sound and characterful playing has earned him the moniker 'The Trumpet of Cuba'. Aguaje Ramos' trombone has been an integral part of World Circuit's Cuban recordings for the past decade. Grammy winning guitarist Manuel Galban made his name with seminal 1960s Cuban doo-wop group Los Zafiros. Amadito Valdes is considered Cuba's leading timbales player, and Barbarito Torres is widely regarded as the world's leading virtuoso laoud player.

Each of the artists has their own take on the gamut of Cuban music, and they've put their individual stamp on son montunos, danzon, cha cha cha, boleros and Cuban jazz. Having honed their skills over many years, their passion for the music has remained undimmd, and this remarkable group of musical giants perform with an exuberance that is as vital as ever.

The Searchers join the Solid Silver Sixties tour for their eleventh time! Headlining another classic Solid Silver 60s line up, the Searchers are a firm favourite on the Solid Silver 60s tour, still going strong since their first number one hit in 1963 in with Sweets For My Sweet .

Wayne Fontana was one of the many talented artists to come out of Manchester during the 1960s beat boom. With hits like “Um Um Um Um Um Um” and “Game of Love”, Wayne remains a firm favourite!

The Merseybeats are one of the true surviving bands from the Golden Age of ‘60s pop music. Still fronted by the two original lead singers, Tony Crane and Billy Kinsley, The Merseybeats are probably one of the most genuine attractions of that Golden Age when Liverpool ruled both the airwaves and the charts!

Returning once again to complete this impressive line up, we are delighted to bring you John Walker. As part of The Walker Brothers, he had his first hit “Love Her” in 1965, with a string of hits that followed. We are thrilled to see him return to The Solid Silver 60s Show.

And completing the impressive line-up is The Dakotas.

SJM Concerts present
ONLY MEN ALOUD!
Plus Special Guests
Sunday 10th May 2009
Doors: 7pm
Tickets: £25, £20 & £17.50
Booking Fee £3.00

In 2008 Only Men Aloud! entered what was to be the UK's biggest choir competition to date, with UK choirs battling to become voted the best choir in the UK on BBC 1 hit Saturday night show Last Choir Standing. After battling through the rounds, OMA! gave some incredible performances and after an all Welsh Final, were crowned the winners and the nation's favourite choir. After selling out 2 shows at the Wales Millennium Centre in December, Only Men Aloud! are embarking on a 12 date spring 2009 UK tour.
Only Men Aloud! started in 2000 by Tim Rhys-Evans, who wanted to create a young male voice choir unafraid to tackle music not usually performed by traditional male voice choirs. Consisting of teachers, musicians, students, a gardener and a pharmacist - the lads like to take time out from rehearsals to play rugby and football. With a repertoire ranging from 15th Century to current day, Tim believes there should be no barriers placed on choral singing and they want to prove to their audience that choirs can be versatile, fresh and funky.

The choir have performed regularly on BBC Radio 4 and Songs of Praise plus in 2003 won the male choir category in the inaugural year of S4Cs Cor Cymru. They performed in the Opening Ceremony, Royal Gala, and also sang in the pre opening banquet, honouring various eminent Welsh figures including, amongst others, Bryn Terfel, Sian Phillips and Shirley Bassey. This was the first official musical performance by any group in this new national venue.Since winning the show the choirs fan base has exploded and now includes fans from around the world including countries such as China. They will soon be recording an album to release in November.
